Who We Need

We are seeking a seasoned Agile Lifecycle Implementation Specialist to lead and coordinate all aspects of agile project management, including MVP planning, Epic/Story development, backlog development and prioritization, and story assignment and tracking. The ideal candidate will be an expert in utilizing Jira and Confluence for project management, with profound knowledge in configuring Dashboards, Projects, Issues, Boards, Plans, Reports, and Pages to streamline team activities and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities will include providing mentorship and disseminating best practices for Jira and Confluence implementations, ensuring the backlog is complete and priorities are well-defined, and producing monthly status reports. You will be the primary liaison with program leadership and stakeholders on MVP progress and coordinate with ancillary team members such as cyber teams, Change Management teams, Quality Assurance, data leads, and cloud platform personnel to ensure comprehensive stakeholder needs are met.

Additionally, the role involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating retrospectives to foster continuous service improvement, along with creating, editing, and updating work instructions and user documentation to support team efforts effectively.

• Lead agile lifecycle implementation
• Coordinate team activities for MVP planning, Epic/Story development, backlog development and prioritization, story assignment and tracking, Jira use, team tasks and resource loading
• Expertise in Jira/Confluence configuration to include Dashboards, Projects, Issues, Boards, Plans, Reports, and Pages.
• Provide mentoring and best practices for JiraConfluence implementation
• Hold primary responsibility for maintaining backlog completeness and prioritization
• Responsible for the production of the monthly status report
• Status Program leadership and stakeholders on MVP progress
• Coordinate with ancillary team members such as cyber team, Change Management team, Quality Assurance, data leads, cloud platform personnel, etc to ensure secondary and tertiary stakeholder needs are considered while making configuration decisions
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate retrospectives to continuously improve service delivery
• Create, edit, update work instructions and user documentation

Your Qualifications

Required

• ?Expert understanding of Agile
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate Jira functionality to represent the effect of sprint progress on long-term Planning efforts
• Use of Confluence for requirements management and linking to development Stories
• Use of Jira to maintain Backlog, Sprints, Release tracking, Issues, Agile Poker, and the creation of various Reporting options
• NACI or NACI clearable
• 5 years of experience with DoD
• Experience with card and issue management process and systems (e.g., Jira)
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Experience delivering presentations to clients
• Bachelor's Degree
