We are looking for a Data Analyst who has a passion for transforming raw, complex data sets using business intelligence tools and visualizations that will be used by leadership both inside and outside of the organization to analyze key performance indicators and assess the health and growth of the program. This position requires the developer to be a self-starter and serve in numerous roles to gather and shape data, develop relevant use cases, and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and anomalies. Additionally, the Developer will work across several different teams, each having specific needs and uses for data reporting and visualization. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work closely with the core PMO to analyze data and report results directly to internal and customer senior executive leadership.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign interactive dashboards for internal and external users
Design and develop dashboards, data visualizations, and complex reports that communicate valuable insights to end-users
Ability to use Command Line tools to access and analyze system data
Define, execute, and interpret data models and queries
Ability to dive into data as a means to troubleshoot operational issues
Manage a repository of re-usable data visualization templates and views
Support activities to document, evolve, and communicate artifacts developed
Implement row-level security for embedded reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or other scientific field required
1-3 years experience required
Experience with relational databases, specifically SQL, and non-SQL and big-data technologies
Experience with open-source data analytics programming languages, such as Python or R
Experience using source control systems (e.g. Git) to manage and deploy code
