The Rohrich Automotive Group, Pittsburgh’s Premier Automotive Group is seeking an HR Manager to assist the organization in finding, vetting and onboarding candidates, to help grow our team, as well as champion employee/management relationships objectively. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized with attention to detail and demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. The responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:
Recruitment and Selection:
Execute intentional recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire talent with the right skills and experiences to best serve their guests.
Conduct job analysis regarding requirements and qualifications in order to create postings on relevant platforms.
Screen resumes, conduct background checks and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Coordinate appointments to facilitate the completion of necessary paperwork and documentation.
Familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures and regulations.
Employee Relations:
Manage employee questions, concerns, grievances and conflicts.
Mediate disputes and facilitate a resolution.
Conduct investigations into complaints or misconduct.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management:
Partner in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, including the creation and delivery of training/communication programs as needed.
Ensure implementation and monitor compliance of existing company policies and programs such as postings, orientation, retention, exit interviews, substance abuse testing and revisions to handbooks/manuals and orientation materials.
Ensure proper progressive discipline, termination, and resignation processes are followed for internal staff.
Training and Development:
In depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, worker's compensation, workplace safety, labor relations and other human resource regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and updating company policies accordingly.
Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records and databases.
Assist in the coordination of updates to handbook and procedure manuals as needed.
Complete all research, tasks, and special projects as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation commensurate with tenure and expertise.
