As an Interim Project Manager specializing in financial systems, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing key projects related to our client's financial infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of financial systems, processes, and technologies.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to financial systems implementation, upgrades, and enhancements.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and effectively communicate project status, milestones, and risks to key stakeholders.Coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and consultants, to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to budget constraints.Conduct thorough analysis of current financial systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Provide expert guidance and support to cross-functional teams on financial systems-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolution of technical challenges.Drive user training and adoption initiatives to ensure smooth transition and maximum utilization of new financial systems and tools.Proactively identify opportunities for process automation, standardization, and efficiency gains within the financial function.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPA, CFA) preferred.Proven track record of at least 5 years in project management roles, with a focus on financial systems implementation and optimization.Deep understanding of financial systems, including ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), financial planning and analysis (FP& A) tools, and business intelligence (BI) solutions.Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional project teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, JIRA, or Microsoft Project.Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving business environment.
