This position will call for a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This fast-paced and quickly expanding position will require the candidate to communicate effectively with both internal team members and outside customers. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Indianapolis, Indiana area and is a short-term contract / contract / contract / temporary employment role. How you will make an impact - Run and build custom reports - Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets - Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Craft and deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statements - Distribute and administer reports as instructed - Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
