We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska. This role involves handling a wide array of accounting responsibilities, including processing invoices and checks, reconciling bank accounts, and managing sales tax filing. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work with a variety of people. Responsibilities:• Enter deposits accurately and efficiently into the system• Process invoices from customers and apply payments when received• Enter checks and bills into the system and distribute them accordingly• Monitor and balance bank accounts daily, and perform monthly reconciliations• Complete account reconciliations in an efficient manner• Review and send notice for monthly sales tax filing • Process wire transfers from the bank account for various payments• Enter show/event journal entries into the system• Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable or payable after each show/event• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, QuickBooks, Sales Tax, and Bank Account Reconciliation.
