Payroll Specialist Overview: As a Payroll Specialist with our client, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our clients. You will be responsible for various payroll-related tasks, including but not limited to payroll processing, data entry, compliance, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Process payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and timekeeping data.
  3. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update employee records and payroll information.
  4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  5. Respond to payroll inquiries from clients and employees promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.
  6. Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain payroll accuracy.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and finance, to address payroll-related matters and ensure seamless operations.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
  3. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve payroll issues effectively.
  6. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
