Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services.• Act as the primary point of contact for ocean and air customer service inquiries.• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers to improve operations and service delivery.• Handle bookings, documentations, and quotations for ocean carriers and airlines.• Manage billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Conduct reconciliation tasks as required, resolving any discrepancies promptly.• Oversee defense contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.• Travel out of state as needed to meet with vendors, customers, or other stakeholders.• Use skills in freight forwarding and cargo handling to optimize operations.• Leverage experience with military personnel to manage and resolve any relevant issues.
