Robert Half has partnered with an energy company in Denver in search of a Corporate Accounting Manager! The Corporate Accounting Manager position is paying $100,000-$140,000!
The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Manage the monthly financial corporate close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of intercompany transactions.
- Manage the AP function to ensure the consistent, on-time payment of invoices and employee expenses reimbursements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and systems, implement best practices, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of month end close.
- Assist with quarterly and annual process for filing the Form 10-Q & 10-K.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
- Assist with the internal and external audits.
Requirements for the Corporate Accounting Manager include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience
- SAP experience
Preferred qualifications for the Corporate Accounting Manager include:
- Active CPA
- Energy industry
- Supervisory experience
