We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced High Volume Accounts Payable Specialist to fulfill a 3-month contract for our client's finance team. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing all accounts payable operations for our organization's high-volume transactions, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing. Your detail-orientated and organized approach will significantly contribute to maintaining our financial health and business reputation.Responsibilities:Process and monitor high volume payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of payable accounts.Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to ensure accurate and timely payment.Review and verify invoices, scrutinizing them for accuracy, appropriate supporting documentation, and approval.Manage end-to-end monthly closing of payable accounts and the posting of month-end information.Support in compiling and maintaining reports such as aged payable listings, cash flow requirements, and expense trends.Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.Compile and process accounts payable data and maintain vendor/supplier records.Collaborate with other departments to ensure bills and invoices are accurate.Assist in streamlining, automating, and improving the accounts payable process.
