Ensure vendor information is accurate and up-to-date in the vendor database. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors in a timely and detail oriented manner. Purchase Order Matching: Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents to validate the accuracy of invoices. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and delivery receipts. Payment Processing: Prepare and process check, ACH, and wire payments in accordance with payment terms and company policies. Monitor payment deadlines to take advantage of early payment discounts and avoid late fees. Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Investigate and resolve any outstanding discrepancies promptly. Reporting: Generate regular accounts payable reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Provide financial data and support for audits as required. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in relevant tax laws and regulations affecting accounts payable.
