Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at a growing company. In this role, your responsibilities will include entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining a cash receipting journal, and updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. The team is rapidly growing and needs a self-starter to join the accounting team! You will process full-cycle AP and handle many invoices per week while paying close attention to detail. Your responsibilities
- Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
- Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders
- Validate documents and codes
- Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced
- Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks
- Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
- Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
