Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Wholesale Distribution field.This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Santa Fe Springs, California area. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.What you get to do every day- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Data entry of invoices- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Carry out additional projects as required- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Provide support to internal business partners- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
