Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a long-term contract / temporary basis to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Food & Food Processing industry. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Massillon, Ohio area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position.What you get to do every day- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Help with internal and external audits as required- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Execute full-cycle A/P- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
