Job Description
Are you an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and accuracy? RideNow Powersports, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team! As an integral part of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the company's payables and ensuring seamless financial transactions with our vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and verify accuracy of billing
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare payments to vendors using various methods such as checks, electronic transfers, and credit cards
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate vendor records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks related to accounts payable
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
