The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented individual with high personal standards for ethical conduct and a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, addressing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • $40,000 to $45,000 Annual Base PLUS commissions and bonuses

ABOUT THE ROLE:

NMHIC, an independent insurance agency based in Chandler, AZ is hiring an experienced Personal Lines CSR Specialist/Account Manager. This person would be responsible for handling a large book of existing business as well as developing, maintaining, and expanding client relationships through prompt, pleasant service and efficient handling of quoting, applications, claims, change requests, and client inquiries on personal lines accounts. This role involves significant priority management, excellent attention to detail, the ability to clearly communicate, and a pleasant demeanor when dealing with both internal and external clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

KEYS TO YOUR SUCCESS INCLUDE:

  • Assist clients with renewal process independently, reviewing policies for correct coverage and re-markets if needed with online quoting platforms for multiple carriers.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunity for auto.
  • Timely and accurate processing of policy changes including auto and property additions and deletions, address changes, proof of insurance, etc.
  • Resolve client inquiries regarding coverage and billing questions, immediately documenting client communication and action taken in agency management system.
  • Maintain current contact and policy information in agency management system for prospects and clients.
  • Assist with agent lead distribution.
  • Keep informed of the insurance industry through independent study, continuing education, and agency resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold state license to sell personal lines insurance or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent plus 2 to 3 years’ experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to use a computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Work is performed in a typical office environment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
