The Senior Group Sales & Catering Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales by expertly managing group sales accounts and skillfully balancing client needs with business objectives to ensure both satisfaction and profitability. This position demands a candidate with a proven track record in sales within the hotel industry, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and its significance in a hospitality environment.
Job Responsibilities but not limited:
- Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Marriott Sales systems, including CI/TY and brand resources .
- Coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate.
- Implementing innovative sales strategies, fostering strong relationships with clients, and expertly negotiating and finalizing contracts.
- Selling guest rooms, meeting space, and other services to customer groups, managing accounts, managing site inspections, soliciting, and generating business
- Preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Sales systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion and customer satisfaction.
