CAREER OPPORTUNITYWe have an immediate opening for a full-time Public Relations Manager for our core brand, the luxury dating site Seeking.com. The PR Manager oversees all press and assigned marketing activities on behalf of the team brands. These activities include but are not limited to strategy, media relations, pitching, events, social media, production, and community management. As a team lead, the PR Manager is mainly responsible for the team brands' quality and consistent press coverage. This position will work closely with the managers of the other marketing teams. The PR Manager is expected to create and uphold favorable branding guidelines and contribute to a collaborative, unified team environment. 
While this opportunity is open to remote candidates, all employees of Reflex Media are required to work the regular business hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST. All offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a full background and reference check.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop communication strategies for assigned brands through research and analysis of market trends, target audience, and brand objectives.
• Create and maintain a pitch calendar for each brand to ensure consistent media coverage and develop compelling pitches to secure media placements.
• Write, review, and edit all pitches to ensure quality and brand alignment.
• Maintain brand recognition and media presence for all represented brands by staying up-to-date with industry news and trends and identifying opportunities for media outreach.
• Respond to incoming media inquiries and assess PR opportunities, including time-sensitive requests, data/fact-checking, speaking & interview engagements.
• Manage the research, coverage, reporting, and contacts for media outreach and identify opportunities for brand visibility.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other press materials as needed.
• Promote favorable casting practices for case studies and other opportunities to showcase the brand effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of proven experience in a PR role (Portfolio required).
• At least two years of experience managing a PR team and performing similar responsibilities to this role.
• Display a thorough understanding of communications principles and knowledge and familiarity with media.
• Stellar writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with online dating trends, nightlife, and entertainment.
• Available for a work schedule of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST.
