Red Level Renovations is Hiring a Project Manager Near Atlanta, GA

We are an 20-year custom, high-end residential renovation and construction firm. All of our work is inside the Perimeter, almost entirely on the east side of the city. Most of the projects involve a significant expansion and renovation of an existing home, and turn it into something our clients will live in for decades to come. The majority of the houses that we work on were constructed between 1900 and 1940. Most of the projects that we take on are under a Design/Build structure. We are looking to add a Project Manager to our team.

Qualified candidates must have experience in custom residential construction, and the closer it is to the work that we do (high-end, older homes), the better.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the following on two to three projects at one time:

· Own the project. The project manager has ultimate responsibility for the success of the project. We have a team to support you, but we are counting on you to manage it.

· Review & understand all project construction documents. Accurately prepare takeoffs, layouts, and orders as required.

· Prepare and maintain course of construction production schedule; communicate with staff & subcontractors, and schedule subcontractors, product deliveries, inspections and other necessary items to maintain the project schedule. Keeping the project on overall timeline is critical.

· Anticipate duration of construction tasks and adjust tasks within the schedule accordingly.

· Provide solutions and options as needed to production and design team when challenges arise.

· Document as-built & unforeseen conditions.

· Supervise trades, and review quality and completeness of subcontractor work throughout project.

· Research and procure products and resources, as necessary.

· Manage project labor and materials to established budget, and notify management team of any anticipated overruns.

· Work to minimize punch work at completion of project. Develop and manage final punch list to client satisfaction, and job completion.

· Provide minor hands-on work when necessary.

· Maintain professional appearance of all job sites - signs, permit box, erosion control, cover and protect, etc.

·· Learn online project management software, and maintain secure sites for each project, including daily logs and pictures.

Attend safety training and maintain safety standards on jobsites.

Note: we will run a background check on anyone that we're considering for the position, and random drug and alcohol checks are possible during employment.
