We are seeking a multi-functional Project Manager (PM), to manage key federal government programs. The program provides professional services to enable enhanced delivery of acquisition, project management, and financial services to the government’s client base. The PM will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for the execution of specified federal government task orders. This is a remote position, however, travel to Atlanta, GA will be required as needed.

• Serve as the point of contact (POC) to provide supervision and guidance for contractor and sub-contractor teams assigned to the contract
• Understand all aspects of the tasks required and closely monitor the work to ensure follow-through and quality
• Strong understanding of technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data management, security, application platforms, and consumer-facing technology
• Develop a comprehensive program plan aligned with the organization's objectives, including defining the scope, objectives, and success criteria, as well as creating a roadmap for program execution
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects
• Coordinating cross-project activities
• Provide technical advice, organize, plan, direct, and manage contractor staff to ensure the goals and objectives of the project are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Provide problem resolution and ensure customer needs are fully satisfied and met
• Provide technical and administrative leadership of tasks, inclusive of financial management and review of work products for correctness, quality, completeness, and follow-through
• Implement process improvement initiatives and provide recommendations on implementing efficiencies and effectiveness to organizational process

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred)
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent level of certification such as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III PM or FAC-P/PM Level III designation (strongly preferred)
• Must have 8 – 12 years of demonstrated experience with the management, supervision, and training of employees of various labor categories and skills
• Previous experience working for a large government management consulting firm 
• Experience supporting multi-million-dollar government acquisition organizations and or public health programs is desired
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of process improvement initiatives, performance management, and project control principles
• Demonstrated experience identifying user requirements; translating the requirements into project plans and milestones; directing and implementing plans; and presenting formal project status/plan briefings to the Government managers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software; SharePoint and other communications-related software programs 
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to acquire and maintain secret level clearance may be required
• May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
