Plaintiffs’ Personal Practice with office staff of 9 people looking for Firm Administrator/Office Manager.
Position: In the role of Firm Administrator/Office Manager, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the smooth operation and strategic advancement of the firm. Your primary duties will include managing the office workflow and productivity to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in our daily operations. You will be charged with developing an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance and assisting in the development of strategic and long-range planning. Your responsibilities will also include directing staff recruiting and retention efforts, initiating and developing employee performance management and improvement systems, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations and other legal requirements. Further, you will manage a broad spectrum of human resources functions including employee orientation, development, and training; policy development and documentation; and managing employee relations. This will encompass the administration of compensation and benefits and managing personal time and vacation approvals. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing firm-related expenses to optimize our financial performance and working with vendors to ensure fair pricing, efficient procurement processes, and adherence to budgetary constraints. This role also includes negotiating contracts and establishing strong relationships that leverage favorable terms and enhance the firm’s operational effectiveness. You will also be tasked with preparing monthly reports related to case intakes, declinations, and settlements. This position requires a proactive approach to both administrative management and strategic planning, aimed at aligning our staff with the firm’s objectives and fostering a collaborative and high-performing (and fun) work environment.
