Primary Function

This position setups and manages projects from contract to deactivation and performs all related activities to resolve issues that hinder Sales alignment with Revenue. The Project Coordinator position requires extreme attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written), professional appearance and demeanor, ability to perform and manage several tasks simultaneously, along with keen problem-solving skills. This position reports directly to the Project Coordination Manager.

This is a non-exempt position.

Specific Duties

· The primary focus of a Project Coordinator is to provide project set up, on-going review, and proactive response to all facets of the company’s performance on specific projects.

· A review of contracted scope and project set-up will be required to ensure the project is properly structured.

· An on-going review of data collected at a macro level on each project to ensure field personnel are performing services in accordance with the contract and company guidelines will be required, along with a monthly review of project budget status and scope remaining.

· Periodic conversations with Quality Built field personnel to assess status and resolve issues will occur.

· Periodic outreach to client personnel to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s performance on their project is essential.

· At the completion of the project, the project coordinator will review deliverables to ensure the entire scope was delivered and then move the project to the “deactive” status.

· Regular communication with other company departments, including field operations managers, project coordinators, and sales, to promote alignment of the project performance with the company’s systems and processes will be necessary.

· Any project-related problems not resolved will be escalated to the Project Coordination Manager for resolution.

· Continuous Process Improvement focused. Exercise and evaluate company processes and offer suggestions for improvement. Participate in Project Coordination Process Improvement Projects.

· Maintains a high level of project setup accuracy.

Education and Skills Requirements

· Two-year college degree in Business or related field or minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar position.

· Project or Account Management experience preferred.

· Experience with reading plans is a plus.

· Knowledge of homebuilding industry preferred, but not required.

· Data entry skills and capabilities are essential.

· Detail oriented and highly organized.

· Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Comfortable in a data-driven environment with proprietary software and database tools.

· Ability to work within a highly structured (ISO9001) company, but eager to suggest and implement changes that will lead to continuous improvement.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent analytical and reasoning skills required.

Machines, Tools and Equipment

Machines common to usual office operation including telephones, copiers, computer and database computer software.

Physical Requirements

Primary posture is sitting, although walking and standing in the home-office setting is required.

Standard Work Hours

Normal work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. From time to time, specific work assignments may require 40 plus hours, including evenings and weekends, as requested by your supervisor or an executive.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
