COMPENSATION: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk with a passion for the ongoing electrification wave and who has the skillset to develop their role as it scales to service the hyper growth of electric vehicle sales.
This position will be remote and will report directly to our AP/AR Manager. You will perform day-to-day finance operations including communicating and following up with retail customers to resolve billing questions and disputes, creating and auditing customer invoices, reviewing vendor bills, and processing payments. NetSuite experience is required, invoicing, sales tax, management of AR and AP Aging reports and much more.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and is a “hands on”, self-starter, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, energetic work environment. This position requires outstanding organizational skills, ability to work with teams across multiple time zones, as well as an inquisitive and analytical mind that desires the opportunity to build the foundational accounting processes and procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Customer service experience and working with customers to resolve billing issues.
  • Processes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Reconciles submitted work from the Billing Team and CSR team.
  • Charges expenses to the appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and recording entries.
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling, and preparing payment, and resolving contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Creates invoices to our customers for installation services.
  • Annual 1099 reporting requirements.
  • Ability to create impactful AR/AP reporting for KPI tracking.
  • Manages outstanding receivables and ensure collection within payment terms.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in a startup environment a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service experience including calling customers on outstanding balances.
  • Experience working in the construction, electrical or other trade industry a plus.
  • Skillset for building processes and procedures with automation to scale within short timelines.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including GAAP.
  • Knowledge of automated financial reporting systems, cost accounting, and customer billing.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple technological platforms.
  • Solid and exceptional character, with business and personal integrity.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
