We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our respiratory team. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday -Friday with a Hybrid Schedule out of any of our locations: King of Prussia, PA; New Providence, NJ; or Concord, NC.

Summary

The position will oversee billing and collections for assigned third-party payors, ensuring timely and accurate submission, follow-up, and resolution of all issues. Understand and communicate changes in payer guidelines and policies, and ensure proper revenue booking. This is a production-oriented position with a focus on meeting or exceeding goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• DME, Medical Reimbursement and Brightree experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

• Ensure accurate and timely claim processing and payment by following up on open claims, resolving denials, and correcting and reprocessing claims
• Write off uncollectible accounts accurately and in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
• Document all actions taken on accounts worked, according to the department policy, to ensure clear understanding of encounter status
• Collaborate with the team to identify root causes and address denial trends, develop and implement innovative A/R follow-up strategies, and improve performance, process, and net revenue collections
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Demonstrate strong cybersecurity awareness and practices, including the ability to identify, report, and mitigate cyber security risks
• Other duties as assigned
