Project HOME is Hiring a Sr. Human Resources Manager Near Philadelphia, PA

Job Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Operations Managersis responsible for the successful management of our employee onboarding andengagement life cycle. This includes management of recruitment, new hireorientation, benefits administration, employee relations and investigation,unemployment, workers compensation and compliance with federal, state, andlocal labor regulations as well as the administration of our internal policiesand procedures. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Managethe daily operations of the HR team, recruiters, generalist, and administrators.
  • Administerthe compensation and benefit programs, including the 401(k) plan administrationand audit.
  • Developand drive our talent acquisition strategy to ensure a culturally diverseworkforce of employees that meet the requirements for each position.
  • Ensurenew employee orientation fosters a connection to the mission and organizationalobjectives.
  • Overseethe management of benefit programs, ensuring compliance with leave requirementsand filings.
  • Liaisebetween departments or other groups to ensure HR Services are delivered timelyand effectively.
  • Overseethe management of worker's compensation and unemployment filings.
  • Workclosely with the Sr Director of HR, supervisors and legal counsel, to manageemployee relations, ensuring employee terminations and disciplinary matters arehandled in a fair sensitive and respectful manner. 
  • Assistthe Sr. Director of HR in developing and monitoring internal HR Departmentgoals, promoting a positive staff culture, enhancing employee engagement,support and staff development.
  • Assistthe Sr. Director of HR in development training and the administration of theperformance management process.
  • Recommend,develop, communicate and enforce policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor'sdegree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in human resources, includingrecruiting, benefits administration, labor relations, and payroll processing or10 years' experience in the human resource field.
  • A minimum of 3 years management/supervisionof an HR team
  • Demonstrated experiencebuilding strong partnership across organizational lines.
  • Strongknowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills, demonstrated experienceusing online collaboration tools and HRIS software product(s).
  • Abilityto work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced,deadline-oriented, environment.
  • Abilityto follow processes and procedures, and ability to use sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Core Skills:

  • Exceptionalorganizational skills, able to manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlineseffectively. Able to prioritize tasks well.
  • Excellentcommunication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills towork collaboratively with all levels of staff and across all departments andlocations.

Physical requirements:

  • Sedentary work thatprimarily involves sitting/standing.
