PROCare HR is Hiring a Client Human Resources Director Near Minneapolis, MN

Note: This role will require regular travel for client visits (1-3 visits per month) within the Southwestern region.

Role Summary

The Director of Client Human Resources serves as the primary HR leader and representative for our clients. It is responsible for delivering and overseeing HR projects and consulting services for clients. This role sits as a part of the client leadership team and is instrumental in developing and deploying the HR strategies and Procare services for individual clients. With HR experience in our industry, this role navigates HR and employment laws and keeps up on changes. As issues arise, this role shoulders the burden of scenarios that create organizational vulnerability.

Your Responsibilities

Primary contact for HR and Workforce Strategy

  • Function as the client’s fractional HR leader
    • Depending upon size, participate in client internal meetings and engaging in HR strategy planning (e.g., leadership meetings, annual or quarterly planning, etc.)
    • Depending on specialty, navigate the unique support needs required
  • Coaching, performance and discipline, including pre-termination consults
  • Harassment and discrimination claims support
  • Support of OHFC, DOL, OSHA, IRS, and/or employee threat of lawsuit
  • Achieve client engagement targets via email, phone, video, and in-person support
  • Follow client and internal issue escalation protocols and expectations

HR Projects and Client Special Requests

  • Identify and deliver specified HR projects in a timely manner, such as HR policy creation and revision, process and resource development, specific problem-solving and analysis
  • Follow protocol related to tracking and prioritizing all client activities and projects

Cross-functional Consulting and Collaboration in HR Administration

  • Collaborate with various departments in HR administration HRIS technology, benefits, workers comp, leaves of absence, unemployment, etc.

Ensure accuracy, integrity and timely availability of data to solve HR problems and to support operations (e.g., HR Metrics)

  • Be a consultative resource for the Procare People department (internal HR)

HR/HRIS Administration and Technical Expertise

  • Understand HRIS capabilities to solve HR problems
  • Support HR module configuration & discovery

This Role is a Good Fit if You

  • Have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, Human Resources, or related field | required - HR degree preferred.
  • Have 10 years of HR experience, demonstrating increases in responsibility, oversight and scope
  • Have 5 years of HR experience in a healthcare setting multi-client benefits administration experience
  • Have 5 years of HRIS knowledge and experience
  • Are PHR or SHRM-CP certified| preferred
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Are a strategic thinker, excellent decision-making, and ability to mitigate risk
  • Customer-service focused - we are in the business of caring for people who care for people
  • Are extremely organized, detail oriented and analytical
  • Are an excellent communicator and problem-solver
  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
