Position Summary / Primary Purpose

The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department to meet annual goals.

Essential Functions

• Provide leadership to the sales team
• Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, suggest corrective actions as needed
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members to improve sales performance
• Train team members on sales and relationship building techniques
• Establish team norms, rhythms, and expectations
• Assist with running weekly L10 meetings
• Hire and train team members as needed
• Attend company events and trade shows
• Review and approve expense reimbursement requests

Nonessential Duties

• Assist with developing department budget
• Work with Management to develop marketing collateral and direct marketing messaging
• Escalate service and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations to the operations teams.

Job Specifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Valid driver’s license

Skills Required:

• Cold calling
• Relationship building
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience Required:

• At least three years of sales experience meeting or exceeding quota
• At least one year in a sales manager role meeting or exceeding quota
• Leadership in a sales role

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, speaking, typing on a computer
• Flying to neighbor islands
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Work Environment: Office spaces, mechanical rooms, trade events

Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Attainment of monthly activity and sales goals
