Job duties and responsibilities for a Robotics Sales Engineer:

• Source commercially available system components
• Estimate project expenses using established standards and templates
• Generate thorough proposals and quotations for robotic cells
• Participate in customer meetings and perform sales presentations, whether on-site or virtually, to discuss potential projects
• Explore and pursue business opportunities across industries such as automotive, industrial, consumer products, food, agricultural, appliance, and aerospace
• Attend various meetings including technical reviews, purchase order validations, kick-off meetings, and factory acceptance buy-off meetings
• Conduct robot reach studies
• Perform robot simulations using Fanuc Roboguide software
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to refine solution concepts
• Maintain detailed activity logs and monitor key performance indicators

Experience and requirements for a Robotics Sales Engineer:

• Preferred degree in automation, mechanical, robotics, or electrical engineering
• Possess technical and mechanical expertise in the field of robotics
• Proficiency with Fanuc robotics preferred
• Knowledge of Fanuc Roboguide preferred
• Experience in estimating costs for custom-engineered solutions
• Ability to create and interpret concept drawings or adapt existing automation cells as necessary
• Technical writing capabilities
• Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor
• Display a keen enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities
• Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
