Job details for a Shipping and Receiving Materials Clerk:
- Pay Type: Hourly (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible start times between 5am-8am (plus overtime opportunities)
- Interview process: phone screening, on-site interview, and facility tour
Job duties and responsibilities for a Shipping and Receiving Materials Clerk:
- Operate Epicor software for inventory management
- Manage and maintain floor stock materials
- Distribute inventory to the shop floor
- Conduct daily cycle counts for inventory accuracy
- Monitor incoming and outgoing materials
- Assist other shop departments as needed
- Package equipment for shipping and distribution
- Operate forklift as needed
Experience and requirements for a Shipping and Receiving Materials Clerk:
- Minimum of 2 years experience using Epicor or a related ERP system
- Strong organizational and cleanliness skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Good mathematical skills, particularly in counting and conversions
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must be reliable with record of strong attendance
Employment is conditional on passing a background check and drug screening, subject to applicable laws and regulations
