- Pay Type: Salaried (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday with a flexible start time between 6am-9am
- Interview process: phone screening, on-site interview, and facility tour
Job duties and responsibilities for an Electrical CAD Technician:
- Create detailed schematics using advanced CAD software
- Foster collaboration with engineers and cross-functional teams for comprehensive design plans
- Thoroughly interpret project requirements, sketches, and specifications for accurate design implementation
- Contribute actively to design modifications and revisions as needed
- Maintain meticulous organization of digital and physical drawing files
- Address CAD software issues and provide technical support for seamless operations
- Develop accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and panel layouts using CAD software
Experience and requirements for an Electrical CAD Technician:
- 2-year degree in CAD, Drafting, and Design Technology or a related field, OR a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD and EPLAN, with a proven track record of creating precise and detailed drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in the creation of technical drawings
- Familiar with industry-specific standards and codes, ensuring compliance in all design work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Employment is conditional on passing a background check and drug screening, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
