Responsibilities

• Preparation of Individual and Corporate tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments
• Direct client interaction
• Processes electronic filing of tax returns
• Interact with Client's internal or external bookkeeper
• Create Adjusting Entries in QuickBooks and client Accounting systems 
• Gain/Loss review and comparison
• Maintain tax database for tracking of all client deadlines and filings
• Tax reporting system data maintenance
• Printing, collation and mailing of tax returns to clients
• Scanning/Organize electronic tax docs
• Printing and mailing notices to the IRS and State agencies

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement- Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting
  • Master’s Degree highly preferred
  • Must be able to meet 150 credit requirement for CPA eligibility
• Knowledge of or previous experience working with:
  • ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is a plus
  • Prosystem FX engagement, CCH Axcess, Microsoft office products, QuickBooks, Xero, also a plus
