Project Manager Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role is responsible for the creation, direction, and coordination, for all Capex projects from beginning to end while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization within a manufacturing facility. The Project Manager will ensure all engineering specifications and standards are met for all projects. This role is based in Baltimore Headquarters requiring on site 4 days a week with the flexibility of hybrid schedule when projects permit.
Project Manager Requirements:
- BS in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management required
- 5-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or industrial setting
- Construction Project Management experience with construction and equipment required
- Project management license preferred and familiarity with LEED
- Proficient in project management software tools and in-depth knowledge of Gantt chart and project scheduling
- Experience using AutoCAD to create drawings and review layouts
- Develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility
- Proven success in leading and delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating needs assessments
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language, attention to detail, and high motivated
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with strong customer service skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving and excellent decision making and leadership capabilities
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Project Manager Pay and Perks:
- Starting pay 120-130K with bonus and room for advancement

Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage large and small Capex projects, new construction, renovation of equipment, facility changes, and overall physical improvements for Pompeian campus
- Manage budget with deep understanding of actuals vs projected against initial budget
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans including project scope, schedule, timeline, goals and deliverables ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborate with VP of Operations on capital projects to ensure proper process design and equipment specifications
- Construction Project Manager will lead cross-functional project teams through all project phases, from initiation to completion while ensuring all safety rules and standards are met
- Present and report on all projects to stakeholders while offering solutions, implement and manage change when necessary to meet project output
- Project Manager will foster partnerships, maintain and improve relationships with customers, service providers, contractors, stakeholders and sponsors
- Optimize resource utilization to enhance productivity and ensure successful project delivery
- Evaluate and assess results of projects, track deliverables and identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations, and company environmental goals
- Lead projects that produce new building designs, equipment designs and processes and apply a deep understanding of engineering principles to contribute to the technical aspects of the projects
- Monitor engineering trends, evaluate business opportunities, recommend and execute new initiatives
- Performs duties per Pompeian’s mission, goals and core values
- All other duties and tasks assigned
