JOB DESCRIPTION

The project manager plans, coordinates, and directs activities concerned with Commercial construction projects. The project manager anticipates the conceptual development of projects and oversees its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

• Work with necessary personnel (store managers, foreman, GC) to organize and direct activities concerned with construction projects.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and foreman to discuss such matters as work procedures, complains, and construction problems.
• Initiate and mitigate liaison with owners and contacts to facilitate project activities.
• Monitor and control project through administrative direction of onsite foreman to ensure project is completed on time and within budget.
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status updates to customers and management.
• Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the customer.
• Formulate reports concerning such areas as work process, costs, and scheduling.
• Responds to inquiries about projects.
• Ensure quality constructions standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Participate in weekly meetings and conversations with other project managers to foster a team atmosphere and continue to enhance programs and processes.
• Onsite weekly project meetings and daily review of progress on projects with subcontractors.
• Close and punch-out projects in an efficient and timely manner.
• Act as point of contact for any engineer, architect, sub-contractor or owner inquiry on pending and previous submittals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,815.16 - $100,852.66 per year
