Polsinelli PC has an immediate opening for a Business Development Coordinator supporting our Litigation Department and Firmwide Litigation.

Position Reports to:

Department Marketing Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of business development initiatives, programs, events, activities and strategies for the Litigation Department and Firmwide Litigation.
  • Assume an active role as a member of the Marketing Department, which includes being an active participant in team meetings, volunteering to help others as capacity allows, asking for help when needed and following established team processes.
  • Support RFP and pitch response strategy and creation of materials, including drafting targeted materials for strategic response. Monitor and maintain proposal tracking database.
  • Support attorneys, practice groups and department with research and analyses, including client/prospect, competitor, and industry.
  • Assist with maintaining the firm’s external website (practice group pages, experience lists, attorney bios, etc.), firm collateral (brochures, overviews, practice descriptions, etc.) and help identify and develop new collateral.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of internal and client-facing events, sometimes in collaboration with the firm-wide events team and/or regional team (includes supporting the development of event proposals and budgets, logistics, targeted list development, invitations and client communications, etc.).
  • Coordinate, format and prepare for execution e-communications including eAlerts, monthly department emails, new attorney welcome emails, newsletters, and more.
  • Coordinate surveys, nominations, and legal rankings directory submissions.
  • Assist with facilitating and planning firm sponsorships, including attendee registration, collateral, booths, etc.
  • Develop strong working relationships with practice attorneys and other members of the Marketing team.
  • Assist with the marketing budget, including processing invoices, reconciling expenses, etc.
  • Provide editing/proofreading for projects, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Journalism or Communication Studies preferred)
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related role required

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
