POIC + RAHS is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Portland, OR

Location: Rosemary Anderson High School East Campus
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Reports to: Director of Family Outreach & Community Programs
Job Summary:
  • This position is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Family Outreach & Community Programs team and will be responsible for organizing and reporting on data across multiple programs and data systems by performing the following duties:
  • Creates Excel documents, charts, and graphs.
  • Provides administrative support to programs, including e-mail correspondence.
  • Obtains accurate and timely information from staff at different levels of the Organization within different programs.
  • Attends staff meetings, as needed.
  • Presents data on program outcomes and activities to the CHI team, as needed.
  • Facilities management which includes workplace and environment maintenance, managing office improvements and repairs as needed and coordinating recycling.
  • Compiles and creates reports for the program.
  • Records minutes of staff or other meetings.
  • Schedules and organizes staff meetings and trainings, may be responsible for travel arrangements. 
  • Creates calendar of upcoming events. 
  • Acts as the point person to receive responses to invitations, trainings, and various events. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from their supervisor.
Qualifications:

Experience/Education:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two to four year(s) related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Database programs required.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating with a variety of audiences both orally and in writing. preferred. Experience providing administrative support to a nonprofit, social service or other agency preferred.

  • A passion for POIC RAHS mission and serving at-risk young adults and their families
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment with people from diverse backgrounds 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, professional email communication, and internet research 
  • Successful completion of initial and ongoing employment screens, including, but not limited to, criminal background, sex offender, drug, abuse and neglect, and vehicle record as required
