- Manage day-to-day operations, including month-end and year-end processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, budgeting, and cash forecasting
- Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis, reconcile capital assets, reserve account statements, check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, produce financial reports
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits for all managed properties
- Improve systems and procedures, initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects, direct staff for compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records
- Hire, train, and manage client accounting staff
- Produce diverse client financial statements, addressing any issues
