Responsibilities
The Network Administrator role will be based in the DC/Metro region and tele-work may be available. Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary.
- Responsible for network monitoring, optimization and administration of LAN, MAN, WAN, and Wireless LAN (WLAN).
- Support Telephone/Telecommunication/Voice Over IP (VOIP)
- Perform equipment installations and move in support of VTC operations.
- Monitor and maintain Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections along with firewall connections.
- Support Wireless communications systems domestic and international
- Conduct root cause analysis, problem escalation, and incident management
- Evaluate and perform performance and capacity management to ensure optimal operations of the network
- Support the implementation and transition to IPv6.
*Contingent on Contract Award*
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen; active security clearance.
- Minimum of 5 - 11 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 0 - 9 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 0 to 6 years with PhD
- Must have experience in network administration on Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technology
- Must have experience with the installation, maintenance, and operations of Palo Alto Firewalls
- Must have experience providing Tier 3 support to included escalation support to vendors.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.Job Summary
