This role shall be responsible for engineering, designing, building, deployment, operations, and maintenance of systems in their entirety and to adapt, rebuild, or redesign the infrastructure as the needs of the organization change, grow, or evolve. The infrastructure must be built to be transport agnostic but uniformly optimized for all parts of the enterprise (including but not limited to network, servers, workstations, virtual desktop infrastructure, printers, VTCs, VOIP phones, and other end-user devices) to meet or exceed end-user expectations for performance over high latency transport mediums, such as satellite, with a latency tolerance of at least 600 milliseconds.
This role is responsible for applicable system testing to ensure the integrity of implemented solutions. As part of this testing process, the contractor will develop and utilize test plans and procedures and create test reports. Additionally, the contractor will be expected to analyze the current infrastructure environment and identify gaps and areas of improvement with a future state roadmap to modernize infrastructure and deliver services in a more dependable, highly available, and efficient manner.
Must have experience with Cisco and Linux based routing solutions, VOIP phones, Cisco Meeting Servers, VMWare, and Hyper-V virtual infrastructure platforms and supporting a combination of Windows and Linux servers, Citrix suite of applications, various Windows desktop enterprise versions as well as a combination of physical and storage solutions.
Muat have experience with next-generation end-to-end encryption solutions utilizing NSA pre-approved CSfC (Commercial Solutions for Classified) components to meet operational requirements. This role will be responsible for continued progress towards deploying new technology into its current system and thereafter maintaining and operating this solution.
Qualifications :
*Network Certifications are desired.
*Must have a BS (Masters preferred)
*At least 7 yrs technical experience
*Active TS Clearance required
