Description

Concept Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Manager. This position is part of a team of Information Technology (IT) professionals supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Command, Control, and Communications (C3) Division. C3 is responsible for ensuring FAA managers have daily situational awareness and continuity of communications in an emergency. If disruptions such as national emergencies, natural disasters, or equipment malfunctions occur, the C3 Division is chartered with restoring the communication services expeditiously. Once fully trained, some telework may be offered.

Duties:

• Day-to-day management of the Command Control Communications (C3) network infrastructure, which includes LANs, WANs, and security systems
• Planning and executing network projects, such as upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integrations
• Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, availability, and security issues while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Manage and supervise a team of 17, including network engineers, service desk technicians, and systems administrators while providing guidance and training
• Coordinate with other IT managers, vendors, and stakeholders to align network strategies with FAA needs

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
• 15 years of relevant experience
• Eligible to receive a security clearance

Nice to have:

• PMP Certification
• CISSP
• CISM
• Secret clearance or above
