Dakota Fluid Power, a Singer Industrial company, is looking for a General Manager to handle the day-to-day and strategic direction of the Dakota Fluid Power Company. Singer Industrial is one of America’s largest Industrial Distributors with a North American footprint of more than 100 locations with over 1,400 employees. Singer Industrial strives to efficiently improve customer productivity with innovative industrial solutions, while providing employee growth and opportunity. We do this with a robust line of fluid power, hose & fittings, belts, seals & gaskets, pneumatic and automation products, and services.

Job Duties Include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day business operations.
• Collaborate with sales to meet corporate objectives and customer service expectations.
• Analyze processes, make recommendations for improvements, and eliminate waste.
• Responsible for performance evaluations and future development of team members.
• Partner with the recruiting to maintain proper staffing levels.
• Communicate with senior management for branch level needs on equipment, manpower and inventory.
• Coordinate with corporate to ensure the proper inventory levels and maintenance required for the branch.
• Ensure inventory cycle counting is maintained at an acceptable accuracy level.
• Operate as a working manager performing all job duties as required.
• Manage and review locations’ timecard requirements through ADP.
