Royalty Staffing is Hiring an Operations Manager - Transportation Industry (FT) Near Sioux Falls, SD

A growing transit platform is seeking an Operations Manager in Sioux Falls. Responsibilities include overseeing multiple teams which include drivers, dispatch, field & tech support and customer service. This role will also be responsible for successfully managing KPI system to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the on-site daily operations of the company's regional dispatch facility
Prioritize operational issues as a real-time point of contact for drivers/dispatchers and provide creative solutions for scheduling of a round-the-clock team
Manage and mentor the on-site team of dispatchers and shift managers
Lead, coach and develop an engaged team of drivers, fostering a collaborative, cohesive and energetic environment
Develop relationships with driver partners, customers, community leaders and local organizations
Communicate regularly and provide updates to company's senior leadership and external business partners
Update and manage established KPI system with teams to effectively drive performance
Prepare reports and analyze data to improve operational processes, ensure resources are properly allocated and maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, local and company policies, procedures and regulations on service operations

REQUIREMENTS:

8 years of experience as an operations manager overseeing a large skilled and unskilled workforce
MBO-A proven track record of managing teams and developing people - you know how to motivate and get the best work out of every person who you work with
Previous success in promoting best-in-class customer service throughout an organization
High attention to detail while still driving on results and focusing on the big picture
The ability to make leadership decisions decisively and appropriately in a dynamic environment
Ability to communicate at levels or the organization and with external partners
Effective at managing multiple tasks simultaneously by prioritizing, delegating and taking ownership
A strong propensity to process improvement and always seeking a better way of doing things
Experience working in the transportation industry preferred
