Reporting to the Head of Operations with working closely with the Medical Director the Clinical Operations Manager will work with Partum leadership and cross-disciplinary clinical teams to develop our next generation maternal and family care model. The Clinical Operations manger will blend analytical skills, patient-centric design thinking, and innovative applications of technology to truly make a difference for families. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who wants to make an impact with innovative, equitable approaches to clinical care while stretching yourself professionally to develop strategy, management, and leadership skills in a startup environment.
Key responsibilities

• Guide the development of our next generation care model- one that delivers exceptional customer experiences and outcomes for the families we serve- from conception to execution
• Manage day-to-day operations of the clinical team
• Implement a structure for ongoing measurement and improvement of clinical operations, outcomes, and health equity measures (in partnership with Partum's clinical and operations leaders
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures across all aspects of operations, including proper documentation and billing;
• Assist in improving billing strategies
• Collaborate to evolve use of technology and digital tools as part of the patient experience and clinical care model
• Manage general practice administration including: scheduling systems, eligibility verification, billing, gathering patient feedback and resolving patient issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements (where applicable), supporting our patient onboarding process and onboarding providers
• Help support clinician recruitment efforts, building a diverse care provider team to provide culturally competent care to patients
• Cultivate an environment reflecting the values of Partum Health while contributing to the growth of our business

About you

• Problem solver with demonstrated experience in implementing structure/processes to solve unstructured problems
• Strong project and time management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations
• Ability to work well with cross-disciplinary clinical teams
• Demonstrated success in developing metrics, monitoring dashboards, and using data to identify opportunities for process improvement
• Fast learner / ability to get up to speed quickly when encountering new information
• Familiarity with building clinical operations workflows and billing practices
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to ambulatory and telemedicine medical practices, including documentation quality reporting, and medico-legal issues that may arise
• Enthusiasm for health equity, access and affordability; experience in women's and family health a plus
• Strength with a variety of computer systems (e.g. excel, google suite, etc.), electronic health records, digital tools, and telemedicine applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inform while effectively interacting with all members of the care team and the public
• Clear track record of independent troubleshooting as a proactive self-starter
• Desire to thrive in a collaborative environment where we all encourage each other to bring our best game!

Education & Work Requirements

• Four (4) year university degree required
• 3 years healthcare experience; Digital/telehealth or ambulatory clinical practice experience/care team management a bonus; Healthcare strategy preferred; or 2-3 years of management consulting in the healthcare sector with a focus on provider operations
• Management experience
• Additional startup or small company experience preferred
