Parker Interior Plantscape is a leading provider of creative, high-end interior landscaping services. Our clients are located in NJ, NY, PA, CT and DE.

This role will specifically focus on New York City.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Generate new leads, promoting and selling our living walls, interior & exterior landscaping services to potential and existing customers.
• Create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs, preparing proposals, and submitting sales contracts for orders.
• Explore new ways to grow the business and increase market share and presence
• Provide effective customer service and developing advanced customer relationships
• Travel to potential and contracted project sites and meetings in the tri-state area, visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Attend networking events (day or night), build strong relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, developers, facility managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Work with the project manager, monitoring construction progress through on-site inspection and review

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong networking skills, outgoing personality, highly motivated and positive attitude
• Knowledge of the architectural and construction industry
• Familiarity with architectural drawings and specs
• Interior design and architecture experience
• Horticultural experience or a strong interest and willingness to learn.
• Multi-tasker
• Time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Software Knowledge:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD (a plus)
• CRM tools such as Salesforce

Salary: $60,000 per year PLUS unlimited commission!

Physical/Environmental elements for this position: The work environment will vary, anywhere from office locations to construction sites. You may be exposed to loud noises, weather conditions, etc. Applicant must be able to do the following pending their location: Sit or stay stationary for extended periods of time, drive a vehicle, move, operate machinery, and communicate/converse with others.
