Responsibilities of Independent Sales Representative
· Desire to hunt and find new business through an outbound lead prospecting model
· Consistently meet and exceed assigned quota associated within assigned territory
· Execute multiple complex sales processes concurrently
· Employ a proven sales process to take prospects from initial interest, build business value, develop proof of concept, deliver custom proposals, and contract closure
· Provide and maintain an accurate rolling pipeline and track sales activity
· Work collaboratively with Business Development team to develop territory and strengthen pipeline
Requirements of the Independent Sales Representative
· 1-2 years of closing business experience a plus
· Strong team player, particularly as it relates to being ethical, honest, and trustworthy within the team and organization
· Inside sales experience should be specific to pursuing the sale of a technology-oriented product or service in a business-to-business setting
· Track record of sales success and ability to close business effectively and independently
· Proven ability to meet and exceed measurable performance goals and metrics
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands with a deadline
· Proactive and creative ways to solve problems
· Desire and ability to have role expanded as the company grows
