Responsibilities of CNC Operator:

Candidate should have a working knowledge of CNC Machine operation including Setup, Maintenance, Operation, and the ability to diagnose minor mechanical issues with the equipment/fixturing. Candidate should possess shop math skills including calculating proper feed and speed for materials, metric conversions. Interpreting Blueprints and Geometric tolerances. Candidate must be capable of holding tolerances and meeting surface finish requirements. Basic computer skills with file transfer are beneficial.

Requirements of CNC Operator:

  • Setup, Operation of CNC equipment is required
  • CNC operating experience required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • The ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs will be necessary
  • Multitasking whenever possible will be required
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to follow direction while also being able to work with little supervision
  • Understanding of machining processes and various equipment types highly desired
  • 1-2 years of CNC Machinist experience required
