Responsibilities of Forklift Mechanic:
- Primarily repair forklifts and other lift equipment. Some work on heavy construction equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on Lift equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test components
- Perform quality inspections after completing work
- As a forklift technician you will work in a clean safe environment
- THIS IS NOT A FROKLIFT OPERATOR POSITION
Qualifications of Forklift Mechanic:
- Previous experience as a forklift mechanic required
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years of forklift mechanic experience preferred
- Willing to look at candidates with 2 years of diesel work on other equipment
- Forklift technician training is provided as well
