Paradise Restaurant & Bar is Hiring a Chef Near Ridge, NJ

Responsibilities:

- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus in collaboration with colleagues
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee the kitchen staff and manage their schedules
- Train and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality ingredients
- Develop new recipes and dishes to keep the menu fresh and exciting

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning and cost control
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in banquet or catering operations is a plus
- Bartending experience is a plus
