Pain Specialist of America LLC is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Austin, TX
Description
Pain Specialists of America (“PSA”) is a portfolio company of private equity firm, CommonView Capital (“CVC”). Based in Austin, PSA is a physician practice of 15 physicians in 18 offices and 2 ambulatory surgical centers (“ASCs”) along the I-35 corridor from San Antonio to Fort Worth with approximately 200 employees. PSA was created through the merger of two of the largest interventional pain management practices in the state of Texas, Central Texas Pain Center and Pain Specialists of Austin.
Reporting directly to the VP, Finance, the Data Analyst will work closely with PSA’s Executive Team and talented staff to implement strategic processes to support the company’s continued growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform data analytics on the business intelligence platform, Power Bi and budgeting software, Solver. Must possess the ability to design and develop reports to analyze data in meaningful ways to disseminate among the Executive Team
• Financial modeling to enable data-driven decision making
• Ability to handle ad hoc time-sensitive data requests in an unstructured environment where taking the lead in driving outcomes is critical
• Budgeting and reforecasting using Solver
• Develop reports in Power BI Desktop, understanding data structures and data models
• Report on operational and financial metrics, working with different stakeholders across the company
• Manage report distribution in Power BI
• Create PowerPoint decks as needed for senior leadership
• Working with data engineer to add or change data model as needed
• Ability to interface with the accounting team
• Analyze location financials, and operational metrics to drive margin and process improvements.
• Develop Dashboards to provide timely feedback to operations to assist in managing to stated metrics and goals
• Communicate with executive stakeholders, including extensive contact with general partners, lenders, intermediaries, and PSA staff, with a high level of sensitivity, diplomacy, and professionalism

Requirements
The ideal candidate would have extensive financial modeling experience and extensive exposure to physician practices within the healthcare sector. Other profiles under consideration would be 5 years of work experience including some combination of the following:
• Accounting
• Consulting
• Finance/Operations experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
Tools:
• Advanced Excel
• Budgeting tool like Solver
• BI tool like Power BI, Tableau
