Purpose and Job Summary ORIX Corporation USA is on the lookout for a versatile and dynamic HR Generalist who specializes in compliance and global mobility management. Positioned under the guidance of the HR Operations Manager, this multifaceted role demands a keen attention to detail and a broad skill set in HR practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing both domestic and international relocations, ensuring compliance across HR operations, and enhancing our organizational processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Compliance and Auditing: Conduct regular audits to identify process gaps or areas of improvement. Propose and implement solutions to mitigate risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Policy and SOP Development: Take charge of reviewing, updating, and creating HR Operations Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Manage a wide range of required documentation, from labor law posters to employee notices, ensuring everything is current and in line with legal standards. Comprehensive HR Support: Provide essential support across the entire employee lifecycle, including offboarding processes, unemployment claim responses, and the maintenance of employee files and documentation. Process Optimization & Employee Development: Constantly seek ways to optimize HR processes and contribute to the development and training of the workforce. Global Mobility Management: Collaborate with external vendors to efficiently manage domestic and international relocations. Work closely with legal counsel to process sponsorship applications and petitions, support visa renewal processes, and onboard international hires & transfers. Contacts This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors. Education, Skills & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3 years of proven experience in HR program maintenance and execution, with a strong emphasis on audit and compliance. Optimization mindset, the ability to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization. A passionate and enthusiastic approach to HR, driven by a desire to contribute positively to the organization. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and list other relevant systems or software Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; Ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities. Strong passion for learning and an ability to quickly apply new concepts to resolve complex problems. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment. Preferred Previous experience with HRIS, preferably Workday. Experience with DocuSign. Prior experience in financial services or a related industry is a plus. Prior experience in Human Resources, supporting onboarding, project support, and customer service is highly desirable. Relevant experience in HR operations, particularly in compliance, global mobility, or related areas.
