JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who is an excellent relationship builder and strategist charged with delivering incredible work while growing existing accounts. This role is a balance of big picture strategic thinking that seeks to solve abstract business challenges while also facilitating tactical execution that brings our client’s objectives to life.

In this role, you will be a cross-functional team leader that facilitates work throughout our internal teams in pursuit of our client’s objectives. The Sr. AM must be able to deliver a variety of work that spans the digital ecosystem and speak to each discipline’s role in solving a client’s problems. As such, the Senior Account Manager must have prior experience with leading a client through digital marketing via Digital Strategy Planning, User Experience Design, Web Development, Social Media, Search, Digital Media, Content Marketing, and Analytics. While experience in all areas is not required, familiarity with each is preferred.

The Sr. AM must be a self-starter and can lead a client towards their objectives in an autonomous, yet highly collaborative way while providing mentorship to teammates and clients. 

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, builds appropriate strategies, and identifies and implements process to help achieve client goals
  • Work closely with Account Supervisor to execute client digital strategies 
  • Act as the internal client advocate while understanding the client’s business lifecycle (i.e. how our client makes money, service their customers, marketing strategy, and more)
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors 
  • Offer insights based on marketing and industry expertise while learning the client’s organization and decision-making process
  • Represent the client internally to ensure successful execution while delivering results that meet or exceed objectives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are being exceeded and ensure on time and on budget deliverables
  • Seek opportunities for growth and innovation within assigned accounts
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients 
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Balance thinking through solutions while respecting scope and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Solve problems and work under high-pressure deadline driven environment while maintaining balance and business maturity.
  • Ability to think critically and consider unique solutions and be empowered to share those ideas with cross functional team members. 
  • Show a desire to mentor and educate more junior team members in their career development.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates need to show evidence of the following: 

  • 4 years of directly related experience within an interactive/digital agency.
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development, strategy, and service.
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team and within a range of digital marketing capabilities: strategy, creative, paid media, social media, analytics, web development, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus: Experience with B2B and complex product life cycle clients
